Mr. Jayaram Vittal Prabhu, M.Com, LLb, CAIIB born on 4th March, 1959 is a retired Chief Manager of eastwhile Syndicate Bank. Mr Prabhu is a seasoned banking professional with extensive experience across various sectors of the financial industry. His diverse expertise includes foreign exchange, retail and corporate finance, and micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSME). He has successfully managed regional operations, focusing on foreign exchange, retail credit, corporate finance, housing loans, and education loans. He worked in the prestigious International Division of the bank in Mumbai, specializing in foreign exchange, treasury operations, and currency conversion, including forward contracts.

He also served as the Manager of the Exchange Company in the Sultanate of Oman for three years, overseeing currency conversion, remittances, and Western Union operations. His Core Competencies are Foreign Exchange Management, Retail and Corporate Finance, Deposit Mobilization (CASA, Term Deposits), Non-Banking Financial Services, Training and Development, Human Resource Management.
